This week we are talking about goals. Yesterday I had you write down at least 50 things you wanted to achieve in your lifetime. For those of you who followed directions, congratulations! Now take that list and beside each goal write down a 1,2,5, or 10. The one stands for 1 year, 2 for 2 years, 5 for 5 years and 10 for 10 years. If you want a little grace and you think some of your goals will take longer, write 20 for 20 years. Spend some time thinking about this. You need to have some in each category. One of my 1 year goals was to take my dad to the NFL hall of fame in Ohio. After I made that goal, within months an engineering conference came up in Ohio. I flew my dad up to Ohio on the last day of the conference and we went to the Hall of Fame. I actually planned the trip before I realized I was going to take my dad to the hall of Hall of Fame. That’s the power of written goals.
